WHAT IS AN AHA LIFE AMBASSADOR?                               

AHA Life Ambassadors are advocates of the AHA who help share The AHA culture, events, and stories about their experiences via social media.  AHA Life Ambassadors are willing to share AHA Life stories on their personal social media pages and use good judgement and common sense on what to post and what not to post through their social media networks.

 

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING AN AHA #THEAHALIFE LIFE AMBASSADOR?

Sharing your AHA experience and journey not only allows you to highlight your own stories as a proud employee of The AHA,  but also generates a larger following of #TheAHALife which in turn attracts potential candidates, volunteers and potential donors.


WHAT SHOULD I DO TO BECOME AN AHA LIFE AMBASSADOR?

Log in to your personal social media pages then share your AHA Life stories by posting photos/videos/posts with your friends, family and followers.

DO I NEED TO BE A SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERT TO BECOME AN AHALIFE AMBASSADOR? WILL THE AHA PROVIDE ANY TRAINING?

No need to be an expert to become an AHA Life Ambassador. Just take a picture or a video that resonates with AHA Life around our culture or events then post on your social media pages with the hashtag #TheAHALife.

The AHA Talent Acquisition team is developing an AHA Life Ambassador training program that will be released soon.



WHAT ARE SOME OTHER AREAS THAT I CAN HELP AS AN AHA LIFE AMBASSADOR?

Apart from sharing your AHA Life stories on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn with your networks you can involve in the following ways:


Participate in the engagement surveys – Great Places to Work, AHA Engagement Survey

Complete a company review about The American Heart Association on Glassdoor.

 

HOW DO I SEE THE AHA LIFE POSTS FROM COLLEAGUES AND OTHER EMPLOYEES?

If you can search the hashtag #TheAHALife on any social media platforms you will be able to see the social media posts from others.

 

I AM ONLY ON FACEBOOK AND NOT ON ANY OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS LIKE TWITTER OR INSTAGRAM. CAN I STILL BE AN AHA #THEAHALIFE AMBASSADOR?

Absolutely. If you are active on at least one platform and excited to share your AHA life story with hashtag #TheAHALife then you are good to go.

 

CAN I SHARE OUR OPPORTUNITIES WITH OUR NETWORKS?
Yes.  Go to our Careers Site and share positions by simply clicking on the social media icon listed at the bottom of the posting.

HOW DO I ADD TO MY OUTLOOK SIGNATURE? 

From the main Microsoft Outlook window, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab. In the Compose in this message format list, click the message format that the signature is used with. Under Signature, click Signatures. Click the signature you want to change, and then click Edit. In the Signature text box, type the text you want to include in the signature. You can also paste the image below to this box.
